Custom Embroidery Information

Our in-house embroidery and digitization capability allows us to offer our customers a fast turnaround at the most competitive prices! Our order process is simple and proven to result in your satisfaction.

How to get started with an order:

  • Step 1.) Select the desired apparel item
  • Step 2.) Draft an email with the following order details: desired apparel style, quantity, colors, and sizes. Attached a copy of the artwork to imprint along with the location(s) and any additional information.
  • Step 3.) Send the email to:

Within 1 working day, we will review the artwork, determine estimated stitches, and contact you to confirm the details. To confirm the order, we will send you an Order Confirmation with a digital artwork proof for your final review and approval before beginning production.

When sending in art, please email the highest quality DPI .JPG, .AI (CS3 or lower), .EPS, .CDR. If you only have a word document or .PDF, we can work with that as well.

Order Information and Pricing

Production Schedule: 7-10 working days upon receipt of PO and artwork approval. Rush service is available at an additional cost.
Payment Schedule: Payment is due upon merchandise delivery (Credit Cards, Checks).  First-time customers are required to secure order with credit card until a payment history is established.
Artwork: Please send us the highest DPI (quality) or vector based art that you have. We prefer .AI, .EPS files that are not bitmap embedded images. Raster images should be saved as .TIFF (one color) or .PSD document w/layers (multi-color) whenever possible. Please remember to convert all text to outlines or curves as opposed to fonts. All other formats may require additional art charges of $60.00 per hour. $15.00 minimum.
Pricing: The following pricing schedule for embroidering the garment and is priced per location. If embroidery is needed on multiple locations, simply multiply the pricing below by the number of locations. Not sure on the number of stitches in your artwork? Digitization Fees

“Digitization” is the process of converting a logo or image into a “stitch” format and is necessary with every embroidery order unless the customer can provide a file with a digitized logo. Digitization is a one-time fee based on the number of stitches, not based on the number of items being embroidered. Sew design is using Customer-supplied DST files is the responsibility of the customer.

Digitization is priced at $80.00 per 10,000 stitches. Add $10.00 for each additional 1,000 stitches.

Specialty Services

Personalization: One line $7.00; 2 lines $9.00

Hat Backs: Minimum charge $3.30 when decorating the front (under 4,000 stitches). No digitization for typeset text.

Metallic Thread: Add $0.50 per piece

Foam: Add $2.00 per piece


Shipping fees are based on weight, dimensions & zip code. We use FEDEX Ground rates unless your PO directs us otherwise. PLEASE indicate on your shipping request form if we are shipping to a residence or a business. FOB San Diego, CA
